The finest Sniper teams from around the world converge on Fort Bragg to compete in a demanding, combat oriented sniper competition. The USASOC Sniper Competition challenges their skills and tests their tactics to earn silent bragging rights throughout the Special Operations community. Competitors include Army Special Forces, Rangers, Special Mission Units, Navy SEALS, Marine Special Operations and Allied SOF Units. The United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School and 1st Special Warfare Training Group (A) host this competition with the support of the Special Forces Association, Chapter 62.
