In Memoriam, Mitchel Allen Williamson
Mitchel Allen Williamson, 56, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, at his home.
Mitchel Allen Williamson was born on 09/18/1963 at Eglin AFB, Florida. He enlisted into the US Army on 02/22/1982. He began his military career in the Pathfinder Co at Ft. Rucker, AL as an 11B Infantryman. After completing the Special Forces Qualification course, Mitch continued his career in the Army by serving as a Special Forces soldier in the 10th, 7th, and 3d SF Groups. He retired as a MSG with A Co 2 BN, 1st Special Warfare Training Group at Ft Bragg, NC. After retirement Mitch lived in Pinehurst, NC with his wife, Stephanie, and had a very special bond with their beautiful daughter, Kendall. Mitch held a BS in Political Science, and enjoyed fishing, golf, and horses and was an active member of Special Forces Association Chapter 62.
